Art of Nature

Much of the art that exists in nature, sometimes we do not realize it, but almost every time we see and touch. Here are some that I catch, though perhaps only myself who think this is the art of nature.

Plumeria - 2

Plumeria (common name Frangipani) is a genus of flowering plants in the dogbane family, Apocynaceae.It contains seven or eight species of mainly deciduous shrubs and small trees. They are native to Central America, Mexico, the Caribbean, and South America as far south as Brazil but can be grown in tropical and sub-tropical regions.

Plumeria is related to the Oleander, Nerium oleander, and both possess an irritant, rather similar to that of Euphorbia. Contact with the sap may irritate eyes and skin. Each of the separate species of Plumeria bears differently shaped, alternate leaves with distinct form and growth habits. The leaves of P. alba are quite narrow and corrugated, whereas leaves of P. pudica have an elongated shape and glossy, dark-green color. P. pudica is one of the everblooming types with non-deciduous, evergreen leaves. Another species that retains leaves and flowers in winter is P. obtusa; though its common name is "Singapore," it is originally from Colombia.

Create a Photo Album Cover

Often we have trouble choosing one photo will be used as an Album Cover. Folders on a Windows-7 is a good example to form an attractive cover.

It's just tips for those who want to create an electronic Album Cover, on facebook photo album, picasa web album and others.

Following are the steps that need to be done:

A. Create a collage of the contents of your album, select some images are quite interesting. Use the software that is easy, can use the Picasa-3, PhotoScape or asimpler; Microsoft Office - Power Point (please see this page as an example).

Create Collage by Picasa-3;

Or can create collage picture by PhotoScape, as follow;

B. Use Microsoft Office - PowerPoint to create text, PowerPoint has a good font facilities. Write the title of your Album Cover, then select the "font", "size" and "position"as appropriate.

Insert your collage picture to the PowerPoint

Type the Album Title and put in an appropriate position.

C. Safe the file using "save as" with file extension ".jpg" also save your file with extension ".pptx" as a reserve, which may be used at a later time to repair.

Save by "Save as"
